| A wide range of advisory services dealing with groundwater are provided by the Rural Water Authorities (RWAs). The RWAs have a major role in groundwater management. Amongst other things they must undertake research, investigations and groundwater monitoring, and authorise bore construction and the extraction and use of groundwater. |
